Here you will find some common questions that some prospective clients tend to have. If you have a question for Prisma that is not addressed below, explore the website and see what Prisma has to offer you. If your question is still unanswered after that, please feel free to contact us.

Does Prisma accept my insurance carrier?

Prisma does not accept insurance for any services that it renders. However, some insurance carriers employ a policy through which they will reimburse you for therapy that you pay for out-of-pocket. Prisma is happy to provide you with a receipt for services rendered - and any other documentation, such as a CPT Coded Superbill, that you might need to be reimbursed directly by your Insurance Provider- if this kind of reimbursement program is available to you.

Does your practice focus on adults or children?

Prisma Counseling services are available to those individuals who are 10 years old or older. On average, Prisma's client population ranges from 10 years old to 75 years old. If you have a child younger than 10 years old, or if you are older than 75 years old, you can still contact Prisma for an appointment, and decisions regarding "client fit" will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Do you offer marital or pre-marital counseling?

Yes! While the majority of Prisma's clients are seen for individual therapy, Prisma has several counseling options available for couples. Additionally, Prisma offers family counseling as well. If it is a larger family, they can be seen in the conference room that is adjacent to Prisma's primary office.

What methods of payment are accepted at Prisma?

Prisma accepts a wide variety of payment methods, and you are free to choose any method that you prefer. Acceptable payment methods include the following: Credit or debit (chip or swipe), ApplePay, personal check, cash, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Payment is due at the time the service(s) is/are rendered.

What are Prisma's office hours?

Prisma's typical office hours are 9:00a.m.-6:00p.m., M-F. After hour appointments will be accepted, but are subject to availability. If an appointment is required to be scheduled after normal business hours, please understand that dates and times are quite limited.
